Argentina Wine Collection
Argentina’s wine story is deeply rooted in history, tradition, and the remarkable landscape of the Andes. Vine cultivation began in the 16th century, when Spanish settlers brought vines to South America. Among the early pioneers was Don Manuel Villafañe, who helped establish viticulture in Argentina, first to provide wine for religious ceremonies and later for the growing communities of the New World.
Over the centuries, winemaking became an important part of Argentine culture. Today, Argentina is celebrated as one of the world’s great wine-producing countries, known for vineyards planted at exceptional elevations, abundant sunshine, cool mountain nights, and pure water flowing from the Andes. These conditions allow grapes to develop remarkable concentration, freshness, and character.
The country is especially famous for Malbec, a grape that has found an extraordinary home in Argentina and produces wines ranging from rich and powerful to elegant and refined. Argentina also offers outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Bonarda, Chardonnay, and Torrontés, showcasing the diversity of regions such as Mendoza, Salta, Patagonia, and beyond.
Our Argentina Wine Collection celebrates this journey — from historic estates and family traditions to a new generation of winemakers creating distinctive wines that express the beauty, altitude, and spirit of Argentina.
