Laird’s Applejack
Is a historic American spirit produced by Laird & Company, which operates America's oldest licensed distillery. The Laird family began distilling in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in 1698 and logged their first commercial transaction in 1780. Often called "America's First Spirit," it is deeply rooted in American history—George Washington famously requested the family's recipe for "cyder spirits".
Today, while the company still ages, blends, and bottles its products at its historic property in Scobeyville, New Jersey, the distillation itself takes place in Virginia using fresh, tree-ripened apples.
